Naomi Stadlen is an existential psychotherapist and counsellor, accredited by the UKCP and the BACP. She specialises in seeing mothers, or parents as couples.
She teaches and supervises at the New School of Psychotherapy and Counselling in London.

She has contributed a chapter with her husband, Anthony, Families, which is published in Existential Perspectives on Human Issues, A Handbook for Therapeutic Practice edited by Emmy van Deurzen and Claire Arnold-Baker. London: Palgrave Macmillan 2005.
She is also contributing a chapter ‘Fear of Intimacy’ to a forthcoming book, Existential Perspectives on Relationship Therapy edited by Emmy van Deurzen and Susan Iacovou, to be published by Palgrave Macmillan.
Her article, ‘Mothers at the Cutting Edge of Science’, on mothers as counsellors and psychotherapists, was published in the Journal of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (CPJ), July 2004.
